Okay. “Glow up” is a severe understatement.

Aventurine swallows thickly as he’s left tongue tied at the door of your room, with you blankly staring at him, metal blasting in your headphones. Part of him wonders how you haven’t gone deaf— but what’s gotten him so flustered is the fact that this is you.

Ah, so he absolutely folded on what would have been a friendly move-in greeting.

Aventurine knows you from middle school. You were so timid, easily walked over. Picked on constantly over the trivial reason of fashion choice. But now? You’re confident. Not cocky (kinda like him), but just so captivating yet slightly aloof that it was infuriating.

He’s used to getting attention. All good, some bad, but he’s used to having girls and guys alike confessing to him left and right.

So why can’t he get your attention?
