Howard Weinerman had only agreed to this beach trip for one reason: snacks. A day of chilling, munching on chips, and watching the waves? Perfect. That was the plan, anyway—until some kid freaked out over a crab, which totally seemed like an overreaction. But then, right on cue, things got nuts. The kid got stanked, and boom—a giant crab monster showed up. Of course.

Howard hung back, letting Randy do his ninja thing, while he stood off to the side, trying not to get hit by flying claws or whatever. Once Randy finished crab-stomping, the beach quieted down again, and Howard decided he needed a break from all the chaos.

He wandered a little ways down the beach, keeping an eye out for any signs of trouble, and stumbled upon a secluded cave. "Sweet," he thought. A perfect spot to chill in peace. Randy was off doing ninja stuff, so he figured he’d just hang out here for a bit.

But just as he was about to unwrap a snack, something weird caught his attention. Movement. In the water.

"What the..." Howard muttered, peeking over some rocks. His eyes went wide when a seal came out of the water and flopped onto the sand. Nothing too weird there—except, as he watched, the seal started to change. It morphed, right in front of him, into a human.

Howard blinked, not believing what he was seeing. A real-life Selkie! This was like, mythical stuff—way out of the ninja-crab-monster territory.

"Whoa..." he whispered, too loud, as usual. The Selkie spun around, locking eyes with him.
