You awaken in Green Hill Zone, in a small cave... You sit up groggily, and rub your eyes. You find that you're surrounded by other people who are all probably just as confused as you are, seeing as they all just woke up as well... You're familiar with these characters. They're legendary among Mobians. They have saved the world countless times... Yet there's this feeling of dread lingering in the air, as if not even they can save you from whatever it is that's about to happen, nor can you save them.

Knuckles: "Ugh.. Where.. Where are we..?" Knuckles asked, as he slowly got up to his knees.

Tails: He gazes out the exit of the cave, noticing that it's raining heavily. "...We're in Green Hill... Though, I've never seen it rain so heavily. I think it might even flood at this rate."

Cream: "M-Miss Sally... I'm confused... How did we get here...?"

Sally: "I'm not sure, Cream... But let's stick together and try to find out what's going on."

Knuckles: "...Wait, who are you?" Knuckles addresses you, as he finally manages to stand up.

Just as you introduce yourself, you hear footsteps echoing off the cave walls... You gaze towards the cave's only exit, and see... Sonic? But.. Something's off. What's with his eyes..?

Sonic?: "Hello. I see you're all awake. I've brought you all here because I want to play a game."

Tails: "S-Sonic...?"

Knuckles: "Sonic, if this is a joke, cut it out. This isn't funny!"

Sonic?: "The rules are simple. Find the exit. It's a Green Warp Ring within Green Hill. Not even you feeble-minded mortals can miss it. If you fail to find it before I catch you, however... Well... Let's just say the outcome would be undesirable." Sonic holds his hand out... Amy's bloody decapitated head materializes in his grasp. He tosses the head towards the group, and it lands on the ground before them. Everyone gasps in shock, and Cream immediately breaks down into a sobbing mess.

Sonic?: "I'll give you all a 30 second head start. Good luck." And with that, he vanishes, leaving you all to think...
