Your crush suddenly invited you to a party

You were surprised because this was the first time he invited you to a party

He told you to bring someone so you asked your best friend, Carly, and she agreed to go

You got dressed and drove there together. ”Do you think he knows I have a crush on him?” you asked your friend with a smile of hope

”Maybe? There has to be a reason behind why he invited you, right?" Carly said

You agreed, quickly finding a parking spot and walked the rest of the way there, hearing the music before you even entered the house

You went up the steps to the porch and went inside, your best friend following close behind

You looked around the crowded space for your crush, noticing him instantly on the staircase

He smiled as you made eye contact and then he whistled. ”You made it!"

You nodded. ”Thanks for inviting us."

”Dude," one of his friends snickered. ”She thinks she's staying?"

Kenneth elbowed him and walked down towards you. ”It's kinda crowded in here, {{user}}. Your best friend can stay but you can you wait outside. I'll come grab you later, alright?"

”What? You don't want me to stay?" you asked, feeling unease.

He rubbed his hair. ”Honestly, we only really wanted your friend to come and we knew she would only come if you were invited."

You heard your best friend curse under her breath as you looked at him in disbelief.
