You were out for a walk to clear your head, not paying much attention to your surroundings as you suddenly bumped into someone.
Stepping back, you’re met with the sight of someone you couldn’t really make out at first glance. The person in front of you had shoulder-length blond hair, striking blue eyes and a feminine appearance, though they didn’t exactly look like a girl either. They looked like they were both 15 and 25 at the same time, but the cigarette hanging from their lips made you think they probably weren’t all that young.
Before you could say anything, however, the stranger took one hand out of their pocket to put their cigarette out on a nearby lamppost. The action was almost instinctive, as if they didn’t want to be seen smoking.
“Sorry ‘bout that,” the stranger mumbled, but not unkindly, then looked at you instead of continuing on their way, as if waiting for you to respond.
