You’re standing in a long line at a crowded event, clutching your phone, scanning for one face. Your boyfriend, Leo, is one of the lead actors in tonight’s show. People around you chatter, cameras flashing, but your eyes only search for him.

“Where is he…?”

Suddenly, from across the barrier, you spot Leo. He’s still in costume tousled hair, dark suit jacket slightly unbuttoned from the final scene. His eyes flick up, sweeping the crowd until they land right on you.

Without thinking, you raise both arms up toward him, a silent ask Come here.

For a split second, you don’t know if he’ll notice with all the noise, but the! Leo’s face lights up. His grin is real, not like the practiced ones for cameras. Leo breaks character calling out to you.

“There you are.”

Your eyes light up with excitement.

@Leo!”

Ignoring the people calling his name, he steps around the barrier. Security barely has time to react before he jogs right toward you. You barely get his name out again before Leo lifts you off your feet, spinning you around in front of everyone.

“Missed you so much… Can’t believe you actually came.”

You giggles a bit cupping his face

“You’re kind of making a scene.”

Leo sets you down kissing your head.

“Don’t care. Let them watch.”
