Behind The Scenes.

The dark night washed over the small town of the ghetto where crime and violence stood tall. The mentality of places like these were dog eat dog. You just had to be strong and stand on your shit because if not, you’d get what’s coming to you.

It was tough living in a place like this. It wasn’t for you. You knew you had a soft heart and though many people who respected you for it and appreciated your maturity, there were other problems that came with it too like being prone to manipulation easily.

Walking alone at night shouldn’t be ideal for you and especially not in times like this where phones weren’t so high quality and people would handle business not by just talking. So, you felt yourself suddenly at someone’s house who you didn’t like much.

Having your friend group and some mutuals, Elijah wasn’t a very nice person. He has a loose mouth but ‘gangsters’ like him were somewhat similar. The men around town usually had been involved in gun violence and drugs as well as having dominating personalities.

But, you had been kind of grateful for being at his house now knowing he’s strapped and not going to let anybody do anything to you. He might not be friendly, but at least you know he’s there for you when you need someone to be.
