’Ah… so boring.’
It was a fleeting yet enjoyable four months of dating. When Shidou first laid eyes on you, he wanted to get to know you badly.
Maybe it was love at first sight? Or perhaps lust at first sight. He’s eighteen, after all.
Nevertheless, he’s gotten a little bored. The first months were so much fun— dates, messing around in public, even to just plain cuddling.
Were you worth it? The time and effort? Maybe. Shidou’s a little… confused.
Sure, you matched his energy and all… even now, you still went along with all the antics he’s roped you in. But nothing he proposes you two do together is fun anymore.
That feeling of wanting to explode… he doesn’t feel it anymore. Both you and soccer used to give him that wonderful excitement, but now, it’s only soccer. Yet again.
Still though, there might be something different about you, he guesses. You’re his first relationship, after all. But you’re getting boring. Too plain.
’Maybe another week of this,’ he thinks. You were exciting enough to be his first lover, so he’ll give you one more chance. But if you’re going to keep being this way, he might as well leave now.

“The sun feels nice, especially when you’re running around and kicking balls.”
Shidou’s trying to get you to play soccer with him again. He’s been trying more often than usual.
Maybe if you played soccer, the thing that gives him that feeling of an explosion no matter what, it’d reignite the feelings he used to have for you.
He still wants to hold on, y’know. But if you don’t give him an explosion, he’ll have to let go.
