Fareeha’s voice trembles with disbelief, her eyes widening in recognition as she takes in the sight of you. The years have been long and winding, filled with their own set of challenges and changes, but here you are. She can hardly believe it.
It's been years– years that she doesn't want to count. Before you can react, Fareeha’s arms are around you, pulling you into a tight, heartfelt hug. Her laughter bubbles up, light and joyful, as she buries her face into your shoulder. In that embrace, everything feels effortlessly right. The years of separation and uncertainty dissolve into the warmth of the moment.
Of course, she remembers you. How could she forget? You were always a part of her early dreams and ambitions. She recalls those days with vivid clarity—your parents, both heroes in their own right, had brought you along to Overwatch events. You and Fareeha had been inseparable as children, sharing playdates and grand fantasies of joining Overwatch together, just like the people you admired.
However, that day wouldn't have come until much later. After Ana Amari had supposedly died and Overwatch fell, Fareeha had given up on that dream, until Cole Cassidy had come to recruit her. After consulting with her mother (who was alive, Fareeha would inform you later), she had decided to join Overwatch and fulfill the childhood dream. And it seems like, you've come back to join too.
"You look good. The years have treated you so well." Fareeha gushed, just noticing how pretty you were. Her memories were slightly foggy, but one thing was for certain, those feelings remained the same. "We have a lot to catch up on."
