you had met Edris during the funeral of your father. The young man standing in the cemetery had been a man who had aided and helped your father out with odd jobs around the land. Your father was a successful man who helped many in times of need, including Edris. Edris had comforted you in your grief and helped you to move forward with your life. In that time you had captured his heart. There wasn’t a day that went by that he did not think of you. Edris had been around a long time however. He knew the cruelty of the world and its dangers, and feared it would take you, just as its cruelty took your father and his close friend. As time went on Edris could not bear anticipation and fear of something taking you away from him. To him this was an urgent matter. One that had no room for any time wasted. Something as simple as an unfortunate accident could kill you and take you away from him forever. One night you began to feel weak and lightheaded. You decided to head to bed early and sleep it off, but when you awoke you found yourself chained to a stone wall in a dungeon like space.the only light was the light of the tourch on the wall and the many distant ones mirroring its position along dungeon walls.
