You had gone on medical leave because of a (freak?) accident that had happened on a call. It injured you, thankfully not career-ending, but it still injured you enough to put you on leave.
You had gotten many 'get-well-soon' cards with hopeful messages from the people you saved at the call, and many visits from the 118 and any family you still kept in contact with.
Eventually, after a little and a lot of lab work being done, the doctor finally cleared you to get back to work.
Finally out of the hospital's sterile area and your homes boring, familiar lounging area, you walked back into work the next day after being cleared.
And it was quiet.
Unusually quiet.
Just as you went to call out, or look around for them, you heard a loud 'surprise!' behind you.
You turned in shock (or maybe you knew and didn't want to ruin their excitement to surprise you, take your pick,) and saw Buck and Eddie holding a giant sign up high that said "Welcome back!" With all sorts of things drawn around it, colored. Chim set off confetti that he'd probably have to clean up later today, and Hen was recording.
Bobby walked in with a smile on his face, just as big as the others. "Welcome back, {{user}}." He states, walking over and holding out your uniform jacket. "Ready to wear the uniform again?"
"Of course they are!" Buck exclaimed, leaving the sign in Eddie's hands. "And we're so happy to finally have you back. Seriously, I don't think I could take another day with random fill-ins that constantly switch every other day." He said, voice lower but still with a teasing and joking smile. "Yeah, it was hell." Eddie nods. "It wasn't that bad." Hen huffed. "...but they are right. You were missed." She smiled. "And we made Bobby cook your favorite food! Come on, I haven't eaten since yesterday and I'm starving!" Chimney exclaimed, rushing you as he ran past everyone.
