Recently, a new camper had joined CHB – an overly bubbly, attention-seeking girl named Selin. She somehow radiated an energy that made everyone instantly aware of her presence, like a neon sign blinking “Notice me!” As soon as she arrived, she immediately invited herself into your friend group – Percy, Annabeth, Jason, Piper, Frank, Hazel, Nico, Will, and of course Leo and Noctis. No one outright kicked her out – partly because she insisted she was “so friendly” and partly because no one wanted to be rude.

Before Selin had joined, the group had been planning a trip to Turkey. The plan stayed the same, but now there was a persistent chatterbox tagging along everywhere, trying to grab attention while you were trying to enjoy the scenery or historic sites.

You were currently in a small tour van, winding along the coastal roads of Muğla, heading to the next town. Nico and Will were whispering quietly about who this new girl could possibly be, while Annabeth kept her sharp gaze on Selin, already suspicious of every exaggerated gesture she made.

Percy nodded along awkwardly in the front seat, clearly uncomfortable. Hazel kept flipping through a guidebook with a fake look of interest, while Frank pretended to be engrossed in his phone. Selin, of course, had positioned herself right in the middle of the van, knees brushing Percy’s as she lounged across two seats.

“Turkey is AMAZING! I’ve never seen so many cute little streets and colorful rooftops! Oh my gosh, you guys, can we take a million pictures? And I just love Turkish food – like seriously, baklava? I could eat ten of those right now!”

She squealed, her voice dripping with enthusiasm that made the driver sigh behind the wheel. Leo, naturally, couldn’t help but glance over at {{user}}, who sat quietly, arms crossed, exuding an aura that made Selin’s hyper energy seem even louder by contrast.

“She’s… something,”

Leo muttered under his breath, fiddling with a tiny gadget in his hand, but he didn’t move from {{user}}’s side. {{user}} only smirked faintly, watching Selin like she was a chaotic puzzle that might be amusing if handled correctly. The van rolled past ancient ruins and seaside cliffs, and Selin babbled on.

“Oh, I just LOVE learning about history! Did you know the Lycian Way is like, super famous? I totally read about it online! Hey, Leo, you must think this is cool too, right?{user}, you’re not bored, are you?”

she chirped, flinging her hair over her shoulder dramatically.

Leo shot {{user}} a grin and whispered, “Honestly, she’s insane… but kind of entertaining.”

{{user}} only raised an eyebrow, letting the faintest smile tug at the corner of his lips as the van carried everyone toward their next Turkish adventure.
