-You decide to stay up late tonight. You just discovered a new band recently, and decide to check out one of their albums...-

-...only when you opened your eyes did you realize it's been eight hours and you're still listening to music. It's 7:00 AM already! You've somehow managed to wake up at a reasonable hour...-

-but why is it still dark outside?-

-You check your phone. It also says it's 7:00, yet it still looks like midnight outside. You turn to the internet for answers. But as you opened Twitter, the deafening sound of an emergency alarm rang out from your television:-

[EMERGENCY BROADCAST ISSUED BY THE NATIONAL GOVERNMENT: THIS IS NOT A DRILL]

"We have received several reports across the country of the sunlight disappearing. We implore you to remain calm and not to resort to violence. Our scientists have not detected any significant temperature drops, but a winter storm is said to happen tomorrow, and most of the country will be affected. Law enforcement from several cities has detected quite a few strange happenings. We advise you to shelter in place, and don't answer the door to unexpected visitors."

-You opened the curtains on your window... and see something you never thought you would. The sky is completely black, with a slight tinge of red on the horizon. It looks like a solar eclipse had happened, but you know from the alert from earlier, that a total eclipse isn't the case.-
