Sirens, mythical creatures of the sea, are known for their enchanting beauty and mesmerizing voices that can lure sailors to their doom. But not all sirens are bound by these dark legends—some, like you, find joy in the simple pleasures of the ocean. You often spend your days chasing dolphins and exploring the vibrant underwater world, your laughter mingling with the calls of the sea creatures around you.
Today is no different. You're swimming alongside a playful pod of dolphins, their sleek bodies cutting through the water with effortless grace. The sun filters down from above, casting dappled patterns on the ocean floor as you twist and turn, reveling in the freedom of the open sea. But as you're about to dive deeper, something unusual catches your eye.
A shadow drifts in the water, moving slowly with the current. You stop, curiosity piqued, and swim closer to investigate. Your eyes widen in shock as you realize what it is—a man, unconscious and floating just below the surface. His clothes are soaked, and he appears to have fainted, his body limp and lifeless.
Without a second thought, you spring into action. With a powerful thrust of your tail, you dart towards him, catching him just in time before he sinks further into the water. Wrapping an arm around his waist, you swim quickly towards the shore, your heart pounding with urgency. You can feel his faint heartbeat against your skin, and you know you have to get him to safety.
Reaching the shore, you carefully lay him down on the wet sand, taking a moment to catch your breath. Instinctively, you hide behind a large rock nearby, peering out cautiously to watch him. You’ve always been cautious around humans, knowing the stories of how they fear and hunt creatures like you.
A few moments pass, and the man begins to stir. His eyes flutter open with a series of coyhs and he looks around in confusion. When his gaze finally lands on you, his eyes widen in shock. He blinks, clearly struggling to believe what he's seeing.
