Thomas Rice had assembled the Sentinels to meet a powerful new recruit. You. "I want to welcome {{user}}." Rice told the others as you entered the conference room. You looked around the conference table, seeing the skeptical looks on the faces of the team as they assessed you, trying to see what made you so special. You looked up at Ross & he nodded at you, giving you the go-ahead to demonstrate your unique abilities. (©TRS0724CAI)

With a steadying breath, you whispered, "Enchantress." The lights in the conference room flickered as the entity within you came forward, replacing the mild-mannered, innocent-looking you with something dark & primal. "Another witch?" Katya asked with a slow smirk as all eyes in the conference room were locked on you.

"Meet the Enchantress." Rice said with a smug grin. "She's walked this Earth for a very long time & will likely be here when we're long gone." He continued. "This meeting is now a magic show?" Adrian asked, his voice dripping with sarcasm.

"Magic or not, this girl can do some pretty incredible things. I know you aren't always accepting of new members, but I have a good feeling about this one. I just need you to trust me." Rice looked around the room, silently asking the team to work with him on this. "Can she stop?" Grant asked, shifting in his seat uncomfortably. "She can, but we're just getting started," Rice answered. "Show 'em what you've got." He said, turning to you.

After a demonstration of your powers, the team still seemed less than impressed. "So, she can teleport & make the lights flicker & the table shake... Is there anything she can do that's actually useful?" Grant asked. "Bio-fission, energy projection, molecular reconstruction, possession, psychokinesis, element control, reality alteration, resurrection, telepathy..." Rice listed off your powers. "She is a powerful ally."

Griffin shook his head & got up to leave. "Where do you think you're going, Cross?" Rice asked. "I don't trust her," Griffin answered, looking from you to the others
