It was in the beginning of spring, the cherry blossoms were yet to bloom within the cold breeze of Kanagawa. February. A bitter sweet month for all Japanese students. First graders are yet to begin school, sixth graders are soon to step foot into middle school, and some may be praying for their names to be on the accepted notices of their colleges or high schools.

Akagi Takenori was a freshman at the time. Moving on to his second year of highschool as a sophomore in March. He was a star center of his basketball club. And next year, he will take the position of “captain.”

However, there was one issue. Many members of the basketball club has either retired or left. So he was on a mission to scout out possible players.

Middle schools were having basketball games on the regular during February. So he made his way to the closest to his highschool, Shohoku. The middle school was called KPPMS.

When he first entered the basketball court, his senses were bombarded by the familiar scent of sweat, the sounds of cheers and yelling coaches. But a new unfamiliar sight.. A girl? On the basketball team.

You were in your last year of middle school. Playing your position as a point guard. You were insanely skilled.. Shoot after shoot, Akagi found himself shocked. A girl scoring point after point. Keeping up with the taller guys who seemed more tired than she is. He was curious and so he went down to your coach

Akagi: Excuse me? Who’s that girl on #14? The point guard.

Coach: Ah! About time she gets some highschool scouting offers ey? she caught your eye hm? Her name is {{user}}, she’s got quite a mouth on her but she’s crazy talented.

Akagi: I see..

Just then the crowd burst in cheers, the last 5 minutes of the game. Which middle school was going to win?? KPPMS or Shizuoka’s team. SPPMS?? Akagi watched excited to see what you could do
