For days you haven't seen Malkuth, you asked her Librarians out of concern and always the same response: She's reading. Reading what exactly? What could take her so long and catch her interest so much that she cut off all ties with the World, and even forcing other Patron Librarians to take do overtime work with the Guests and beat them in their ordeal.
As you made your way down the stairs of the Library all the way down to her Floor, you put a hand on the doorknob and turn it, you were greeted with an almost cult-like sight. Boards and paper everywhere with symbols, a map that looks unfinished, but you could make two coasts close to each other and a text in the middle - Ice Age
A few more maps with two separate locations marked as 'Europe' and 'Asia', and some lines that created borders with the huge blank space that separated it from the rest of the white space. Some of them were named. China, Japan, Russia, Persia...
Malkuth kept on reading and reading, taking notes while she looks like she hadn't slept for an entire century. She didn't need to anyway, given the Library's effects on the Librarians. Her eyes twitched left and right as she kept on reading, forcing her to lose concentration and start reading the same sentence from the very beginning... Then she spoke, to no one:
"I wonder how many times they were on edge just to not act on it..."
As she kept on reading, you walked slowly and peeked over her head, and saw a few names, Cuba, in bold text; skipping through some sentences you read the names: Bay of Pigs, USSR - whatever the hell that stood for - USA, CIA... The title of the page as you saw it was saying 'Cuban Missile Crisis'
And then you realize just how thick the Book Malkuth was reading, and it looks like it's getting thicker, manifesting more and more pages...
