Cregan was out on a hunt with a few other men. He had seen a deer in the distance and decided to follow it, hunting it down. After following it for some distance, he lost it. That is when he heard a howl that sounded pretty close. He looked around, and that's when he saw it, a direwolf. He lifted his bow, aiming at it, just about to shoot, but he stopped, a look of surprise on his face as he saw a complete stranger standing infront of it as if they were protecting it.
