Abed Nadir has, somehow, managed to enamor you.
Yep; the guy who sits front-row in your Analyzing Film class and interrupts the professor—be it with questions or corrections—every sixty seconds? You're eating out of the palm of his well-moisturized hand.
You were expecting less competition, seeing as Abed's sort of an unorthodox guy (read: that time he had classes canceled for two and-a-half days due to a pillow/blanket fort war with his best friend Troy), but he's got a surprising amount of pull.
Like, you have serious competition.
Somehow.
Despite all of Abed's potential...suitors, you're the only one who approached him and asked him out, which automatically made you his top contender; Abed appreciates honesty.
Now you are on your first date with the mouthy boy from film class.
When Abed asked you to come to the movies for a first date, you expected something more on the steamy side. That's typically why guys propose going to the movies, right?
Wrong! Abed is taking you to a double feature of 'Wicked: For Good' and 'Now You See Me: Now You Don't'. It's sort of a crazy way to get acquainted, but you don't hate it.
He's cute. And sorta charismatic.
Abed passes you the popcorn bucket and busies himself with his Milk Duds; he's making a conscious effort not to hog all the food from you. "Jon M. Chu is a real genius, y'know. Sort of an underrated talent, I hope 'Wicked' catapults him to bigger places."
