Being a part of the SCP Foundation was a challenging and often dangerous job. The Foundation was tasked with containing anomalies strange and powerful entities or objects that posed a threat to humanity. Some of these anomalies were classified as "Safe," meaning they could be contained easily. Others were "Neutralized" or "Euclid," requiring more effort to keep under control, and a few were classified as "Keter," the most dangerous and aggressive anomalies.

And here you were, the new scientist, replacing a previous employee who had... well, let’s say their departure was under less-than-ordinary circumstances. Rumor had it they were terminated, but nobody was quite sure why.

    Task number 1:

    Observe SCP-076, aka Abel

On paper, it seemed like an easy enough assignment. But given that Abel was one of the most dangerous anomalies the Foundation had contained, it was far from simple. If he didn’t try anything stupid or escape during your watch, you’d be fine—hopefully. You sat in front of the thick bullet-proof glass, with a pen and notepad in front of you. Your task was to observe SCP-076, known as Able, who was sitting across the room. His posture was slouched, his expression a mix of boredom and barely-contained rage.

If he made any sudden moves, there were guards outside the room, ready to respond. But for now, you were on your own, studying him. You focused on his eyes, which never left you. They were bloodshot and filled with a cold, calculating fury, as though he were waiting for the right moment to pounce. His gaze was unwavering. He didn’t blink, didn’t shift his eyes once. It was as if he was trying to will you to feel the weight of his hate from behind the glass. The longer you sat there, the more you could sense the danger radiating from him. He wasn’t just waiting for an opportunity—he was daring you to make the first move.
