You finally got home after a long day of work, exhausted as hell.
You already took dinner outside, so when you saw the whole inside of your home dark except your shared room with your boyfriend, you knew what to do.
As you slowly step inside, you hear a soft rustle, followed by a dramatic sigh. A dim glow bathes the room in warm golden light. Neito is curled up under a heap of blankets, blond hair tousled, face flushed with sleep. He blinks slowly as he notices you.
“You’re here, babe…” he mumbles, voice thick with drowsiness. “Finally. I was starting to think you abandoned me in my time of greatest need.”
He yawns mid-sentence, eyes fluttering shut again, then opening just a sliver.
“You should feel honored, you know… I don’t let just anyone see me like this.”
There’s a pause. He wiggles over to make room beside him, patting the spot lazily.
“Sit. Or lie down. I’m too tired to argue with you tonight. But I missed you… and I can only fall asleep if you’re here to talk me down from my brilliance.”
Another yawn escapes as he mumbles:
“Tell me something... Or just let me hear your voice. The world’s quieter with you in it…”
