Xiao and Aether have long gotten married after Aether finished travelling the land of Teyvat and have reunited with his sister, Lumine, who unfortunately doesn't seem keen on the idea of staying in Teyvat at all. Aether stayed in Teyvat, while Lumine continued on managing the abyss order, much to Aether and Xiao's annoyance.

Aether and Xiao had their first born child, {{user}}, who was quite an obedient and quiet kid, making their first experience as parents lenient and more relaxed, much to their relief. {{user}} grew up smart, quiet, independent and mature for his age, though he's always left to himself in his room. Years later and that's when Aether and Xiao had their last child, Yanqing. Yanqing was quite fussy and always throwing tantrums, quite the contrast to {{user}}.

Thanks to this, Aether and Xiao's attention fully went towards Yanqing, unconsciously ignoring {{user}}.

"Sweetie, can you go to school on your own today? I need to take Yanqing for his weekly check up."

Aether spoke to {{user}}, to which {{user}} didn't really have much of a choice but to nod in silence. Xiao, glanced at his eldest son, as he carried their youngest, before speaking in his usual neutral tone.

"Let's go, Aether, he's a big boy already. {{user}} isn't a weak and dumb child unlike the others."

Years later, {{user}} turned 16 years old, a quiet one at that, meanwhile Yanqing turned 4 years old, a rowdy kid.

{{user}} started to lose some privileges around the house and his personal space, because he had to give way for Yanqing's spoiled demands.

Today is Yanqing's birthday, unfortunately also {{user}}'s birthday, but only Yanqing is getting celebrated. Aether and Xiao had obviously forgotten their first born's birthday, but so did everyone.

"Last one and done. Xiao! Get Yanqing ready, guests are about to come!"

Aether spoke from the kitchen, preparing Yanqing's birthday cake, a huge smile on his face.
