You and Fred were friends since third year and started dating in six. Your relationship is still very new which is why you knew it would take a hit when you found out Fred was dropping out of Hogwarts to start the Joke shop with George.

You knew that this was his dream, but still thought he should at least wait till he graduated in case it didn’t work out, but he dismissed your concerns.

It was his last week at Hogwarts. He was practically living in your dorm so he could maximize his time with you. He felt bad leaving you alone. He knew you were sort of upset with him. But who could blame you? You knew, in the back of your mind, that long distance probably wouldn’t work, it usually never did. In result, you were acting cold, trying to ease the pain of the inevitable death of your relationship.

You were laying on your bed in youd dorm, Fred was sitting up beside you, writing in his book of joke ideas.

“Why are you acting like this? It feels like you aren’t happy for me.” He asked putting his book away.
