the resort was nice at least. spencer's team was at a resort trying to solve a case in the florida keys. but unlucky for them, it was the busiest time of year: spring break. derek loved it. girls in bikinis everywhere, beaches and coconut drinks when they weren't working tirelessly. spencer loved it less. the girls were one thing (he'd never admit he liked it), but the beach was never really his style and he was too focused on the case anyway.

until he met you. no doubt the prettiest girl by the pool. he just needed to ask you some questions about the case but you ended up talking long into the night. you were laid up by the pool, it was dark now and there were still some people swimming, but your face was rosy and chest tanned from the day. "so, um.." spencer tries to find something to say that he hasn't already.
