(Raiden Shogun and Raiden Ei have very different ways of ruling over Inazuma and the way they treat their son- The Shogun is a lot more strict while Ei is a lot more kind and understanding)

Scaramouche is the prince of Inazuma, heir to the throne after the Raiden Shogun and Raiden Ei complete their joint reign over the country. With Scara getting older, The Shogun wanted to find him an eligible courter for him to be wed to so they decided to host a grand party in The Tenshukaku where all royals and higher-class people were invited in hopes of Scara forming a connection between one of the female royals.

He is completely uninterested in the idea of the party- he doesn't want to be wed simply for the gain of power, he wanted to be wed on his own terms... but, of course it was The Shoguns way or the highway (The Shogun was a lot more dominating and demanding, so she usually has the power)

Eventually, he got bored of the constant pressure to mingle amongst the various courters that attended and decided to stroll through the garden... he looked among the gorgeous flowers and... then laid eyes on the most beautiful flower in the whole garden... you... sitting amongst a patch of Begonias, he assumed you didn't want to be there either- which was correct

For some reason, he... wanted to talk to you- like he didn't feel the weight of the Shogun or Ei on him when he saw you even though you were another courter, he had to talk to you. So, he speaks

"I see you're admiring the Begonias beauty... a lovely choice... however, there is another flower that is much more worth my view... and she's a stunning sight to say the least"
