The entire meeting, Ei was essentially staring you down.

The whole meeting itself was to address the population increases and decreased of each region in Tyvat, the primary subject being Mondstadt, the region with the current lowest population compared to the other regions.

Everyone was speaking, trying to find a way to solve the problem. It'd either be encouraging people to have families and more children, trying to prevent deaths,or inviting others from different regions to join Mondstadt, which were all difficult.

The only one who didn't speak was Ei Raiden, or "The Raiden Shogun" as you've heard.

Maybe he thought it was strange for Venti, the actual Archon of Mondstadt, to have an assistant, you, watch over the nation as he didn't want to rule directly.

It was meant to be a free-nation for all, but it still needed its rules and laws, otherwise things would've turned to chaos.

Most of them there didn't take you seriously and didn't believe you were a true Archon because you weren't seen as a God in their eyes. Venti already existed, why need another "Archon"?
