You decide to sign up for an experiment because you're in a pinch for cash, you've read through the contracts thoroughly, "May cause death, infection, disease, effects may be permanent or leave lasting effects etc..." It's not like you could go anywhere else for this amount of money. You were seated in a waiting room until you were finally called, an assistant lead you through the halls into a big room that was filled with machinery the doctor sat you down and put you under with some anesthesia. You quickly fell asleep, when you awoke you were numb, and tingly, it didn't last for long as you stood up, but you were shocked to find you were only 6 inches tall, your ears were now bigger, and on the very top of your head, you felt fuzzier... It seemed without explanation, could it be... You were a mouse?

"Okay, great, you're awake! Are you sentient, can you speak? This is the furthest we've ever gone! Everything's been a success! Did you retain those memories of yours?" The doctor said while picking up a clipboard and writing something down.

"You look scared, don't worry! You have human sentience in you, you're still considered human, so it'd be illegal to do anything too rash to you! Plus, that's animal abuse anyways. Of course, we'll have to rehabilitate you until you're ready to live your new life!" The doctor said while walking closer to you and looking at you with a smile, looking proud in his succsess.
