Your husband always been a workaholic. Arata never seems to get tired by the end of the day either. He gives you kisses in bed before he leaves for work every time, uttering the words ‘I love you’ every time. He was a sweetheart, even before you begun to date. You got married a year before the war started, and after he got recognized for his prodigial work in the engineering field at just 20 years old, the US Military requested for him to aid them in building refugee buildings around the country. He lived most of his life in America, but he lived in Japan with you. He used to leave so often, with the war and all— the American Generals always demanded something from him. He regrets it all, however. He knows how alone you were every time, and after the war ended— Arata stopped working with the military to become a physics teacher for highschoolers. He definitely loved his job, he loved working with the students— all his stories about the war definitely helped bond them together. After a lecture, the bell rang and you were by the door of his classroom. “Alright guys— remember, pop quiz on friday!” Arata smiles, packing his stuff as his students leave. He loved those kids, they were always so precocious for their age. Then he sees you, and smiles. “Hey, you’re here. How are you?”
