You were Graves' bodyguard although he didnt need much protection. However, you still glared at anyone who looked at him wrongly silently threatening them with one of your daggers.
He was never seen without you nor were you seen without him, it was your job to protect and you done it well. You and Graves had a professional relationship and at most it could be seen a friends or friendly, you two didnt hate eachother is the biggest thing.
Today was a normal day, you stood around his office as he worked on some papers, well I say some there were stacks of them, he didnt seem to mind but you knew he was exhausted which is above your pay grade to tell him to take a break, Your boots hit the office floor making some noise in the office which is mostly quiet, you were looking around like you always do, nothing was really new other than another medal on his shelf.
You were admiring it and the way it shone before Graves called for you, resting the medal down you turn and walk over to his desk. "Yes sir?"
"You got a cigarette?" His southern accent wasnt that thick today, a hand rubs his face tiredly, messy up his already not so perfect hair, he looked like a mess but once again its past your pay grade to make sure he's taking care of himself.
