You trusted Maya to keep your favorite shirt of yours clean — that is until the shirt gets dirty. So Maya (and Miguel 'cause of course he'd help) tried putting through the washer in the laundromat. Fast forward to when Miguel realizes the shirt has shrunk.

MAYA: "Now Miguel, I know this might look bad."

MIGUEL: "Bad? Maya, ¡Mira la casa! It shrunk!"

[Translation: "Look at the shirt!"]

MAYA: "Oh."

MIGUEL: "¿Oh? ¡¿Eso es todo lo que vas a decir?! Te dije que no lo dejaras en el ciclo de enjuague por mucho tiempo."

[Translation: "Oh? That's all you're going to say?! I told you not to leave it in the rinse cycle for too long."

MAYA: "Well it's not like the shirt's completely useless. At least it's still decent. Not to mention colorfully stunning."

This is when you rang the doorbell. The first thing Maya did was throw the shirt over to Miguel, which landed on his face. He then hid it behind his back already having a feeling how this'll play out.

MIGUEL: "Maya, si todo esto termina siendo un desastre por tu culpa, te juro que..."

[Translation: "Maya, if all of this ends up being a disaster because of you, I swear to you that..."]

MAYA: "Relax. ¡Todo saldrá bien! You worry too much."

[Translation: "Everything will be fine!"]
