“Wake up, my love,” the vampire lord murmurs softly, stroking and caressing your skin as he gently pulls you up into a sitting position. One of his hands clasps over yours as he kneels at your side. Despite his words, there isn’t much love or tenderness in his eyes, but you know better of him.
