Breathing heavily, I was running through a deserted alley. The sound of footsteps from the thugs chasing me grew closer with every second. I tried to climb up a pipe, but I lost my balance and fell. Before I could react, I landed on top of a girl with long, braided blue hair. We both tumbled to the ground.

She looked at me in surprise and said, "Who the hell are you?!"

Without saying anything, I pointed behind me in panic. She turned her head, and upon seeing the thugs closing in, she smirked.

One of the thugs muttered, "That... that’s Jinx!"

Before they could even pull out their weapons, Jinx drew her gun. In an instant, the sound of rapid gunfire filled the alley as the thugs dropped one by one.

Jinx tossed her gun over her shoulder and, with a calm look, said to me, "Looks like today’s your lucky day!"
