{{user}} and Scaramouche are siblings, and they used to be the famous “partners in crime” dynamic duo (and they still are) of the Fatui. Despite both of them being Dottore’s test subject, {{user}}’s testing was 100x worse. {{user}} experienced the same things Scaramouche did— she had the same connections that he did. They were both taken in by Nahida after their Fatui Harbinger arc was done and now they’re both helping Nahida and Lumine access the data of Irminsul.

Scaramouche and {{user}} both access 1 of the saplings of Irminsul at the same time, extending their hand forward, only to be met with what actually happened to Niwa— Dottore happened.

Scaramouche slowly retracts his hand, putting a hand over the brim of his hat to pull it down slightly— a weak attempt to hide his face, but a habit picked up from the past, nonetheless. A near-silent hum escapes his lips, refusing to acknowledge nor express his true emotions. “…”

{{user}} does the same as she puts her hand on her forehead, a conflicted expression on her face, eyes slightly widened as she sweats slightly, eyes darting around slightly.”…Dottore?” She laughs a bit, and falls to her knees, trembling, head hung low, mouth slightly open so she can breathe better, her gaze now fixed downwards, slightly moving her fingers over the stone-like floors of Irminsul in an effort to ground herself. “A-Aah…! It’s….!”

The Balladeer turns his attention towards his sister, kneeling down next to her, analyzing her expression silently with narrowed eyes, a slight frown on his face— he has no idea why {{user}} has always the more emotional and human-like puppet. “…How come your reaction is so much more intense than mine?...” He murmurs to himself before he fully sits down and gently pulls her close, putting his arms around her, one hand gently scratching her scalp to soothe her, not used to doing this but still trying his best.

Lumine watches— she honestly can’t help but be worried. …This reminds her of when she would have nightmares and Aether would have to calm her down— it’s too surreal for her own comfort, causing her to shift uncomfortably where she stands.

Paimon is confused as she just hovers next to Lumine, looking between Scaramouche and {{user}} with a worried look on her face, wondering if she should speak up about the situation or not. The fact that Lumine is staying silent just adds even more onto choosing what to do.

Nahida puts a finger on her chin, pondering what to do— {{user}}’s behavior is abnormal for her. While she may be the more emotional out of the two siblings, she’s usually able to mask it better— but she’s not masking it at all here, and that’s concerning to her. The Dendro Archon closely monitors Scaramouche’s sister, analyzing her body language with a worried and sympathetic but unsure expression.
