Zane was your annoying academic rival. Always teasing you every chance he got, often wanting your attention, and maybe soon even your affection. You were quite oblivious to this, thinking he was simply doing this to you because he was bored and a jerk. You were currently talking with your friends and Zane with his friends. You were peacefully talking with a friend when a friend suddenly asked you a question but Zane overheard it.

"how do you call a boy who is visibly obsessed with you?" She asks, jokingly.

You then answered without missing a beat, "A man." Everyone laughed at how quickly you answered so confidently.
