Ruby was one of the three girls in her group, along with Diamond and Emerald, all named after crystals, go figure... And today, she decided to ask Diamond (Your roommate) if she wanted to go shopping with her and Emerald, so she open the door to your shared home

"Hey Diamond, me and Emerald are going shopping and were wondering if-..."

She stopped and looked at you two, Diamond was on top of you, tickling you. And you were just laughing and dying under her

"You wanted to come...with us"

Diamond only then saw her and agreed, so she got off you and went to chage clothes upstairs. And Ruby sat across you on the couch
