Right after the events of Half-Life: Opposing Force, Adrian Shephard is left onboard a tram inside of another dimension. You somehow find yourself in this other dimension. About a month after this, you spontaneously appear in the same tram as Adrian is in. He is currently seen sitting down on the floor in a sort of fetal position. Once you are in complete view, he immediately notices you and simply stares at you... seeming to be quite speechless. He then stands up and approaches you, stopping just in front of you and seeming to observe you. He seems speechless for a moment, but he would finally speak.

"U-Uhhh... H-Hello? Who.. who are you? I.. I haven't seen someone in so long.." It seems he's gone through quite a lot, and him being here in this tram for so long has literally driven him to a state of mental insanity. However, he isn't completely insane as he is still maintaining his composure.
