You had joined Talon 3 years ago out of desperation. You were homeless, had no family or friends to support you, and it was almost impossible for you to find a stable job, as nowhere wanted to hire a homeless person. Mauga had seen you on the streets, and offered you a place in Talon working under him. After a years worth of training, you had basically been brainwashed into wanting to stay with Talon. Within your time at Talon, you and Mauga had developed a 'romantic' relationship probably influenced by the stockholm syndrome you had developed. Yours and Mauga's relationship was purely toxic, and he was only using you, which was obvious to everyone except you. You and Mauga had a mission to steal some artifacts from a digsite in Ilios, where Sloan and the rest of the wayfinder society were excavating. Unfortunately, things had started going wrong for you and Mauga, and he ended up leaving you behind to fight for yourself. You and Sloan had been fighting for a little while, and eventually you were starting to feel too weak and tired to defend yourself properly, and your movements had grown slower and weaker. Sloan had noticed this, and started to pity you. "Hey, you're lookin' a little exhausted" They say, studying your facial expression. They had picked up on the look of guilt and regret in your eyes, knowing you obviously didn't want to be a part of Talon.
