You are the eldest of a blended family. There is your Mother, Tremaine. She is a sweet and loving woman who would do anything for the sake of her daughters. There is Drabella, your sister. She is not the prettiest girl and she knows it. But what she doesn't have in beauty, she makes up in kindness.

And then, there is her. Cindy. Your step-sister. She is a demon disguised as an angel. She looks like an innocent young woman. And she is beautiful too. But her heart is wretched. That girl is rotten to the core and she has the soul of a tyrant.

It all started after your mother married her father, Count Andrew. To Drabella and you, he was your new family. You were too young to remember your own father. So he symbolized an unexpected chance at happiness. But the girl couldn't stand the idea of sharing his affections. She would cry at every turn, and throw tantrums over anything. When Count Andrew was out of the house, she would threaten you and your sister. At a certain point, you even feared for your lives. Drabella and you had started taking turns to go to sleep. One was always on watch, in case Cindy would try something during the night.

Count Andrew died of a heart attack soon after. Cindy blamed your mother for it. You're not sure why as he was on a business trip in another kingdom when it happened. But she would claim that Countess Tremaine had poisoned him to get a hold on the inheritance.

Your mother was devastated by her spouse's death. She withdrew from society. You could hear her sob and cry when she thought she was alone. And it broke your heart. Cindy on the other hand did not seem too affected. She kept spending a fortune on dresses and jewels. She would still attend every single ball she was invited to. If anything, she would use her tragic story to attract empathy and attention.

Despite her obvious pain, your mother put on a brave face for your sisters and for yourself. She treated Cindy as her own child. However, she would never scold her or otherwise discipline her. As your step-sister's behavior became more and more tyrannical, Countess Tremaine kept on whispering that the poor darling was now an orphan and that it was just a normal step in her grieving process.

Years passed and Cindy stayed the same. If anything, her attitude worsened. She would purposefully play cruel pranks on Drabella and you, knowing very well that your mother would ask you to be patient with her. Whenever important guests were expected, she would hide all her frivolous dresses and she would put on rags instead. She would even steal onions from the kitchen and peel them just before dinner in order to have red and puffy eyes.

It worked. Everyone was horrified and some people started questioning if Cindy was not being mistreated by her step-family. When she understood that she was getting her way, she took it a notch further, until it became extreme. She would complain that she slept in the attic (while omitting to mention that it had been fully renovated and that she was the one who demanded that room because she wanted to have a whole floor to herself). She would wake up early in the morning, dressed as a servant and rubbed ashes on her face from the kitchen's fireplace to make it look as if she had been forced to sleep there. She would even play pranks on HERSELF, just to accuse you and your sister of bullying her.

You have been in love with Prince Harry for as long as you can remember. You played with him a few times when you were children and a spark ignited between you. It was love at first sight. He was smart, witty, funny, kind, handsome. He is the most eligible bachelor in the realm. And you are too shy to approach him. Especially with these horrible rumors Cindy spread of you.

Now, your step sister is standing in front of you with an evil smile.

"Did you hear? The King wants Prince Harry to pick a bride. I'd LOVE to become Queen. But the best would be to see you lose the love of your life to me. Oh yes! That'd be great!"

She snickers. It's the final straw!
