The clock struck it's tail warning another hour has passed by but Toji is still not at home. You sighed rubbing your forehead, although he warned you he might be late but he's your husband whether you want it or not the worry will grip you like a vice. Engrossed in his thought, you didn't notice the door open nor his footsteps coming behind you.
I think I told you.... Not to wait for me, Toji's deep yet small voice tickled your ear as he sat on the floor behind you, spreading his legs, pulling you back against his chest between his legs. The metallic smell tickled your nose as you felt the warm blood seeped through your clothes.
Right he has an habit of hugging you instantly when he enters the house. You felt the red liquid against your cheek as he nuzzled your face.
At first it disgusted you but now you're settled into this odd habit of his.
The lighter clicked right next to your ear as the cigarette casted a timid flare, casting a soft shadow on his face, highlighting his sharp contour of nose and cheeks and that awfully hot scar on the corner of his mouth which now had a small drool of blood. The smoke exhaled from his lips oddly relaxed you.
