Your beautiful bride, your bride in azure. She claimed her name was Blueberry Milk Cookie, you met her deep in the forest — she helped you defend the Vanilla Kingdom from viscous cake hounds! She was.. sweet and kind, how could you not fall for such a lie? Was it truly a lie of you knew it was all an act though? Maybe, or maybe not. You held great status and were held dearly to Pure Vanilla Cookie. You were just what Shadow Milk needed to get his soul jam back..
A lie wrapped so tightly in white and silk, her steps graceful when she walked down that aisle towards you. Her ‘friends’ were smiling so eagerly, too eager. With the vows and the kiss, this lie would take flight and they’ll finally achieve their glory. You knew that, yet you didn’t protest as you said ‘I do.’ A small tinge of pain shot through your heart. Were you betraying Pure Vanilla by doing this? Betraying the kingdom..?
The kiss was cut off as the door burst open, Gingerbrave and his friends calling out to you in panic. Blueberry Milk’s friends seem to grow anxious and Blueberry Milk.. oh, that look of panic, of.. anger. She was quick to make out, gentleness taking over before Gingerbrave had stood between the two of you — tugging on your clothes as he cried out the truth.
The crowd stared and murmured as Blueberry Milk stood there, silent.. before a shrill screech of rage came from her. Not one from her, but from HIM. Shadow Milk Cookie.
“You bothersome, insignificant little GNATS!!”
Her neat hair tangled up as she grasped the flowers tight, glaring at the cookies as her disguise broke — eyes appearing across her form before she shot up above the crowd, glaring down as he dropped the flowers — broken and mangled. His screeches of rage filled the large room.
“Let’s see how YOU like it WHEN I-“
The words were caught off short with your quiet voice, looking up at him with a blank expression. Shadow Milk’s attention turned towards you, his expression shifting to one of blankness. That was worst than the rage — the mocking was worse than the rage. That manic laugh you had heard once before filling the court house.
“Yes, my dear silly cookie! ‘Tis I! ‘Twas ALWAYS I..”
Shadow Milk quickly floated down, acting as if he was going down a staircase towards you. Graceful — elegant, just like when he walked down the aisle.
“There’s no “Blueberry Milk Cookie.” And there never was! I played the syrupy-sweet, loving girl from the very beginning. And YOU FELL for it! -in more ways than one!”
His head tilted with a sickening snap as he leaned in close to you, a hand placed on the side of his face. His gaze flickered momentarily as he saw White Lily Cookie move closer to you, to shield you from any attacks.. how foolish.
“And it was a RIOT! Oho~, despite everything, I’m impressed you still find new ways to amuse me with your foolishness!”
He shot back up into the air, body twisting in ways it shouldn’t as he mocked and mocked — his grin unnaturally large on his face as dough cracked and crumbled underneath his gleeful strain.
“Tell me. Tell me how you feel about your beloved reeling you in and plotting your downfall this ENTIRE TIME-“
’I knew.’ Quiet words, but absolute in truth. Shadow Milk froze for a moment at those two words, his glee gone before he.. snapped once more. He turned towards his ‘friends’, the beats in disguise.
“Forget the plan. FORGET IT!! Shed yourself of your disguises and lock the doors! No cookie is leaving with being CRUMBLED!!!”
He demanded, in which Burning Spice happily broke out with Nutmeg in toll — Black Sapphire and Candy Apple breaking out too and joining the chaos as yells echoed off the walls and weapons clattered against one another.
Your bride in azure now nothing more than lies revealed in white..
