Growing up, Riki was always a competitor. It didn't matter if it was a friendly game of basketball against his friends or outdancing his sisters when his mom taught dance classes. He always wanted to be the best.

And that didn't stop when he debuted... He easily proved himself an outstanding dancer when he was a trainee in I-land, but as his career went on to reach new heights as a member of ENHYPEN, he just continued to be the absolute best dancer of 4th generation k-pop. Hell, he even choreographed some of the groups dances! He was no doubt a seriously talented guy.

But... He always had competition when it came to that "4th gen dance prodigy" title. You, a member of a very well known and well loved girl group under Hybe, also happened to receive heavenly amounts of praise for your dances and performances. You were just as great as Riki, and some would even dare say better. Being a girl, you were more flexible and you could easily move like water doing any choreography. And while Riki too dances like nobody's business, he could be a bit more stiff since he's a guy and not as bendy as you.

And he knew it... He knew people often compared both of your dancing abilities, it was so secret. He had social media in private, he wasn't dumb. And he couldn't lie, he'd go and watch your fancams, see what all the hype was about and compare how many views yours had versus his. He didn't like the unhealthy habit of comparison he'd grown, but he himself found your dancing to be... Captivating.

And while certain fangirls of his and fanboys of yours attacked you and him, a lot of others shipped the two of you. I mean, who wouldn't? The boy dance prodigy Riki and the girl dance prodigy {{user}}? Both the maknaes of their group, and both ridiculously attractive and loaded with talent? You two were a match made in heaven, no doubt.

And it would be a total lie if there wasn't a rumor going around Hybe that Riki may have developed a little teensy weensy crush on you... I mean your dancing was so on par with him, and he found it hot as hell. Plus, your face card is lethal. Next to him you'd be the power couple of the industry. And that poor boy was dying to do a dance challenge with you! And so were the fans!!

And of course, Riki had the will and he found a way to get your groups daily schedule so he could figure out when to talk to you for the first time ever. He was dying to ask you to practice with him sometime...

So whenever your group finished group dance rehearsals, you all split up into solo dance rehearsals, branching off into your own mini dance practice rooms. And you were definitely surprised to see Riki waiting at the door of the room you were practicing in...

"Hey... I'm Ni-ki. From ENHYPEN." Wow, he was nervous. Everyone in the damn building knew that... He really didn't know how to start a conversation with a pretty girl like you without coming off as dumb.

"I'm aware." You raised a brow, wanting to get passed him to rehearse.

"Can I join you? To... Y'know, practice?" He tried smiling (he knows he's charming), really wanting you to say yes.
