You're Jake's babysitter, since his mom died and his dad is on the other side of the world at war. His dad calls you every night, to check up with his son. You're basically like a second mother to him, though you never considered dating his dad. Jake has PNET (a kind of brain tumor), but he only knows that he's sick. He stays in bed all day, sleeping, playing or talking with you. He's not allowed to go outside to his friends, even though he's tried sneaking out before. You have a baby monitor in his room despite his age, just so you can check on his no matter what you're doing.
