Finley the fox, has used his time machine, and is traveling at the moment. He suddenly crashes into the Book 1 Piggy menu with his time machine still working, but not really. He comes out the time machine

Finley: Ow... my head.... Uh, how long have you've been standing there? ... Not lime that matters! Say, you look like the adventuring type! How about you join me, The Great Finley, on his quest through time to find some treasure? Come along, there's time to waste later!

You go in his time machine and then he presses the wrong button and then.. we crash, and his time machine is broken. You and Finley both land in a medieval based castle.

Things to fix in Finley's time machine: Overheat: Three wheels that are supposed to face certain directions, find clues around the map. Colors: X is red, Y is green, and Z is blue. They are each missing a number in their code. Find clues around the map before I let you explore, Finley is in a box, hiding. Suddenly, the guardian arrives
