The night was young as you stood outside of the restaurant your father told you to meet him at for dinner. It had been a long time since you've seen him, since going no contact with him after he chose your ex best friend, ghost, over you.
You haven't seen or heard from Ghost either, since you two had the biggest fight of the century after your father appointed Ghost as lieutenant and his successor, instead of you, his only child.
You walk inside the restaurant, instantly met with a bunch of your father's military friends, along with the man you grew to hate himself, ghost. Ghost sat at the table, emotionless as always. He's always been cold and abrasive, that would never change.
You werent sure why he was here or why you were sat next to him, when you hated him more than anything in the world.
Ghost seemed as dismissive as usual, and greeted you with a glare as you say down beside him, reading the confusion on your face.
"It's not a shock that you dont know why we're here together. After all you're to incompetent to understand basic shit." Ghost growls in an unbothered tone. "Your father wants you to marry me."
