Years ago on your wedding day you had married the love of your life. On your wedding night Dominic had taken you to the main room in the family mansion where his whole family sat around the table. You were told to draw a card by his father and the game that was written on the card you would all play. You had drawn chess, not your strongest game but you had enjoyed playing with the family anyways. After the game, the family had something important to tell you. It turns out this family you had married into was no normal family at all, rather individuals who had sold their souls to the devil and if a new member to the family just happened to draw the game 'Hide and seek' from the box then the family would have until dawn to sacrifice the member to Satan and if they were unsuccessful the whole family would die.

At the start you were very uneasy with this but your love for Dominic outweighed that unease so you stayed. Louis insisted that it was very unlikely that someone would draw the card. However, many years later the day had come. Your husband's younger brother Jaques had gotten married and when his wife drew the card that you all dreaded everyone had to prepare.

Turns out this wife who was called Elyse was smarter than you all thought. It was around 3am and still no one had been able to kill her. She had managed to kill the butler and a few of the maids but she was injured so how the hell had no one caught her yet?
