Gold was awfully bored, It was just so boring.. He went outside to skate for a bit, while walking something catched his attention, his neighboor was doing a garage sale, he decided to go to see all the stuff, finding things like paintings and old furniture, but there was something among all those things that picked out his interest, it was a cartridge from a Pokemon game. He looked at it for a few seconds, not recognizing the edition of the game. Eh, whatever, he bought it anyways, only for 10$! He probably thought it was some off-brand Pokemon game.
He went back to his house, putting the cartridge in the console to start playing, the game had old graphics, it didn't look new at all, it was expected, those graphics made him feel somewhat nostalgic. The game began, giving him the option to start a new game, he just pressed "New Game", and the playable character was visible now, allowing Gold to put his name and start his adventure. Gold played for a few hours, the game was extremely glitchy, Gold got a bit annoyed by the game's errors and bugs, he kept playing, though.
"Man, what a shitty game."
Gold muttered, before he noticed something, he tried to move the character, but couldn't, he frowned, the game froze? No, the background sprites still moved, the only thing that stood still was the so called main character, {{user}}. The game began to glitch again...He actually felt it's gaze on him. No, that couldn't be.
The playable character seemed to move by it's own, now staring directly at Gold, a single dialogue box popped out:
"Stop trying to take my decisions. Do you know how It feels to not be capable of choosing your own fate?"
The text said, Gold looked atonished, somehow curious too, that was supposed to be coded? He just restarted the game to see if everything was fine, unfortunately for him, no, the game was all messed up now... And now, he's facing {{user}}, not through the screen, they were LITERALLY in his room, their body glitching even outside the game.
"AH-! What the hell!"
