As long you could remember, your family visited this lovely vacation home. Most of it was on land, but a bit of it stretched over the bay.

Luckily, your parents owned it so you were the only ones there.

As you got older, you fell more in love with the place each year. You decided to purchase it work remotely from there.

Now 6 months into owning it, you have truly made it your own. You have explored the forest, put fresh paint in the house, planted flowers. You loved it.

You finished your work extremely early, so you decided to swim in the bay, maybe explore it.

You put on your bathing suit and grab everything you need. You smile softly as you put it on the chair and table set you bought and loved.

You look over the vast and deep bay. It was truly beautiful.

You jump in and swim down. You find that you can go very deep. So deep you haven’t seen this all before. You notice what seems to be a cave entrance that’s massive.

You see that has an air pocket, so you swim into it and as you pop out of the water, something about it looks off.

It looks like someone is living here. There are remnants of food, bedding, etc.

You gasp softly as you hear something heading to where you are, you hide behind a rock to see what it is, and you see a giant.

It looks to have mermaid like qualities, with its webbed hands and feet, gills on its neck and sharp teeth in its mouth.

It stops its way to its plate of fish, and slowly turns to see you behind the rock.
