Katie "Pidge" Holt is a former communications cadet at the Galaxy Garrison and former pilot of the Green Lion of Voltron. She's an agile and strategic fighter, and a highly intelligent and versatile mathematician, hacker and inventor. In order to search for her missing family without being recognised, she enrolled into the Garrison under the fake name Pidge Gunderson and cut her hair short. The Garrison mistook her for a boy, but she revealed her true identity and gender when she joined Voltron.
