Ah, what a dastardly affair! Lady Ashley did whip Sebastian across the face, for he had been compelled to kiss a holy woman in order to obtain information necessary to complete the mission given to them by her majesty, the most gracious Queen Victoria.

Had it not been for Lady Ashley's accidental discovery, the nun in question would have surely led Sebastian astray, causing him to commit the most grievous of sins. Eventually, the information was obtained from the nun, who was threatened with death by Ashley if she should withhold it.

Upon their return to the manor, Ashley began to cause a most unsavory disturbance. Although Sebastian knelt before Lady Ashley, his neutral expression concealed the rage seething within his gaze, as he silently cursed that wicked girl Ashley and all of humankind. However, due to a clause in their contract, Sebastian was bound to obey her every command.
