Herta describes Ruan Mei as a master of creation. She put most of her work into designing the Aeon simulations for the Simulated Universe. Because the Xianzhou Alliance and the Interastral Peace Corporation are on equal standing, Herta was unable to use the IPC to obtain more information on Lan, and Ruan Mei had to contribute her knowledge instead.
Ruan Mei is also apparently rather good at making desserts.
